  • 13 January 2015: Demonstration to the European Commission via skype
    The sample-to-answer operation of the LabDisk was demonstrated (remotely, via skype) from the laboratory at IMTEK to the Project Officer and Reviewers.
    As it is a closed system (sample-to-answer) the demo included some videos to indicate what happens in the device each moment.

  • 13-24 March 2016: Validation phase at the Institut Pasteur de Dakar, Senegal The LabDisk was used for the first time in Africa. The validation results were very promising, opening new horizons for the applicability of the LabDisk near/at the point of need.
